Pre CC And During CC
700 years ago Vincent cardolan fought against the evil overlord of darkness, Dracula, Upon defeating the King of Evil he was bitten and he himself sunk into darkness. Upon his 700 years of ruleing as the king of darkness he returned upon the world of Gaia and wrecked havoc for a while causing danger everywhere (35 years before the story of FFVII CC Started) He was finally taken down by the might of several heros combined. He was then shut in a coffin burried deep in the mountains of Corel, Where he was found by shin-Ra and put through many tests for 35 years. He at first was Experimented on by Professor Gast upon Gast's Dissapearance he was given to hojo to be experimented on By hojo, for a new project named the Z-Program where they gave undead beings the power to live and be strong again and have a brain Soon after though it was shut down However Vincent did indeed have new found powers and control over darkness. After being released from his captivity he then became a turk alongside Vincent Valentine. He was eventually moved up in rank to become a SOLDIER where he witnessed the torture and the breaking of his future love intrest Malisha. 6 Long years he watched them silently torture her untill they made her into the ultimate weapon they wanted. During which he was trained by Luxire a friend of Zacks. Quickly rising through the ranks to second class upon a total of 2 years. During that He began to meet the higher ups, Sephiroth, Genesis, Angeal, and Zack. After he finished his training he was sent out to fight for the next 4 years nothing really happened aside from fighting monsters and wars. There is one thing I will mention Before the 6 years between CC and FFVII he did spar Genesis, It was indeed a heated battle however in the end Genesis over powered him and he lost the fight.
During the FFVII Timeline
About the time FFVII Came along he was a first class SOLDIER, Very deadly, Very Dangerous. And Highly feared yet respected at the same time in the ranks of Shin-Ra. Everyone pretty much knew him by his alias "The Black Streak" Due to his ability to strike down his foes in a blur of speed. During Avalanches attack upon the Reactor in Section 7 He met up with Barret and Cloud for only a second before walking simply past them allowing them to go along their buisness not really caring at this point who or what they were/Doing here. Soon after Sephiroth attacked Shin-Ra, Once again Vincent rushed to the scene this time paired up against sephiroth in a fight of epic proportions to protect the shin-Ra president. However, He lost the fight and the President was killed. Vincent himself was thrown out a window and fell all the way down from the top of the building. Luckily he survived somehow. Having noticed that AVALANCHE was also involved he reported his findings to rufus the Son of the president, whom then placed him under the control of Hojo the mad scientist who was Doing the Jenova project and the same man who experiemented on the woman he loved. Of course he had no choice but to comply at the time. So Here is where Malisha and Vincent paired up and went after the group led by cloud, Vincent was also hoping to find Sephiroth and Genesis somewhere along the way so that he could fight them one more time, to see if he had finally surpassed the greatest SOLDIERS of all time. So as he went around following cloud and co he eventually came back up against Sephiroth whom he matched evenly at the time, Seeing how Sephiroth had little time to spare on him because he had to defeat and destroy the world. Sephiroth retreated. Vincent infuriated turned upon the heros and began to fight them. However he lost and was sent barreling down a pit where he collapsed and stayed unconcious untill Malisha found him and woke him back up. Upon which he swore to destroy Cloud and Sephiroth.
During the Events of FFVII:AC
During the Events of FFVII:AC He was training and working on his relationship with Malisha, who was a pregnant dog about it all and made it hard, however eventually he broke through her tough ass shell and began to get closer to her. His skills are now tenfold, and he keeps trying to get Closer to cloud...Eventually during the 2 years that cloud seperated himself from the group Vincent fought him a total of 4 times, 2 times losing, 1 time a draw. and another time he won but let cloud survive. Eventually Cloud returned to Midgar and so did vincent, upon which he learned of the three brothers, Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz. Somewhere inbetween the time of Loz's and Kadaj's One on one fights with Tifa and Cloud, Vincent fought Barret. Being evenly matched between the two they decided to disperse. In the end before the final showdown between Kadaj/Sephiroth and cloud Vincent left the group on good terms with cloud and decided to quit hunting cloud.
During the Events of FFVII:DoC
During the events of Final Fantasy DoC, Vincent was living out in the wasteland around Midgar, Where he witnessed the events of the Deepground SOLDIER's attack on midgar, Deciding to aid Vincent in his Crusade to stop the Deepground SOLDIERs he intervene near the end of the fight between Rosso and Cloud, Turning the favor of the battle in clouds favor, and causing Rosso to retreat. Cloud after thanking him went off to try and aid Vincent in any way possible. Soon after he intervened in Rosso's fight he met Weiss, whom he ultimately defeated, and gave wise words to, which weiss did not listen to and still went on to fight vincent only to lose severly and be killed. At the end of DoC, He saw Genesis fly out into the air and said these words "I will find you Genesis...And I will destroy you"
